BRAIN Notice of Special Interest (NOSI), which aims to support the dissemination of promising technologies and resources generated from BRAIN awards, fostering collaborations, and integrating these research innovations into research practice, will be closed on February 28, 2023.
The NIH BRAIN released a Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Availability of Administrative Supplements for BRAIN Awardees to Support Resource Dissemination (NOT-NS-21-014) which aims to accelerate the scientific impact of the BRAIN Initiative through rapid dissemination of promising technologies and resources to the neuroscience research community.
Projects may accomplish this goal through different types of activities, including production and distribution of reagents, providing resources to the end users, beta testing by end-user laboratories, gathering information on and assessing end user needs, and many more. The NIH BRAIN Initiative is firmly committed to fostering diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility in the research community. Therefore, applicants are strongly encouraged to consider the importance of diversity in their dissemination efforts, such as collaborating with investigators/institutions that are eligible for REAP or AREA grants or are located in IDeA-eligible states.
