Dear BRAIN Community,

On September 23, 2020, the National Academies’ Forum on Neuroscience and Nervous System Disorders will host a public workshop on transcriptomic differences in the brains of women versus men with brain disorders.

The NIH is still seeking input on how to enhance scientific and workforce diversity through the BRAIN Initiative. Public comments will be accepted until August 31, 2020.

All NIH grant applications submitted late for due dates between March 9, 2020, and May 1, 2020, will be accepted through May 1, 2020.

BRAIN Initiative investigators can now offer feedback on a new NIH-wide data sharing policy that will likely impact ongoing and future neuroscience research. The draft NIH policy for data management and sharing is open for public comment until January 10, 2020.
